This week was pretty laid back, didn't really do much, just worked on civics game, and a little on my game. That's about it.

This week I finished my individual game, but I might add some more to. We changed our main game again but its not that big of a change so hopefully we will be finished soon.

Well this week I got a little bit farther on my part of the team game!!! I also started working on my Game, let me tell you its going to amazing!!! but other than that it was a normal week here at South Harrison.

This Week we did....

Well this week we worked on our games a lot more. We had to make another change in our game but I think that this change is for the best and it will make the game a lot easier to make. Other than that it was another good week.

weekly review

1. Our game topic is on the 2nd Amendment.
2.It teaches the player about the importance's of the 2nd amendment.
3.Well when you click to play the game a screen well come up and it will say "Survival of The Smartest." and it will have a start button for you to click on to start the game. Ounce you click on the start button it will tell you how to play the game. Then you go to the game where on the 1st level you have to click on the treasure box and answer the question correctly and if you do then you get a power up that will help you in some way. Then enemies will come in and all you do is click on the to destroy them. Next you go to the 2nd level where you do basically the same thing.
4.Well when the player is playing the game (he or she) will read a document that has the 2nd Amendment on it and then in the levels (he or she) will be asked question about the 2nd Amendment and with information they read they will be able to answer the question and receive some cool power ups.
5.It teaches the idea of the Constitution.
6.Our game would probably fit into the ideal of Government section, because it explains about the right of the people and there right to bear arms.

What we did this week.

well this week we worked some more on our game. yesterday we went to an assembly so we didn't do much. and thats all we did this week mainly.
Ok I need help does anyone know how to destroy or make the object disappear by clicking on it, on the Flash program?

civic track

It is very fun working on the civic topic I get to learn so many things when I come to class to work on it, because civics is one of my low points in school and every day I get to learn more about civics, it was also pretty hard though coming up with a topic but in the long run it is very fun!!!

Weeks Experience

This week our team got really far in making the game, and on Wed. people came to talk to us about Globaloria it was pretty cool. Also I didn't get any head aches this week!!! I'm finally getting the hang of the codes and buttons! =)

Blog promt

Weeks Experience

This week we work on our civics game. We also worked on making a Button on flash and learning some codes, watched a lot of tutorials using flash, and worked with the pen tool on flash as well. Overall it was a good week.

Well this week went a lot better than last, a lot better. We did our video for our paper prototype, I think it went pretty well but we had to take 3 video till we finally got it right. Then we made our team page on the wiki "Muffin Tanks" rule!!!". and today we had to copy a bunch of assignments and stuff on to our learning log, it took forever.

Civics Game Info

Our team name is "Muffin Tanks". Muffin Tanks consists of Me, Anna, and Tyler. Our subject is on the 2nd amendment. Here are some facts that I figured out about the 2nd amendment, That the 2nd amendment is only a sentence long, the 2nd amendment is one of the most important amendment because if we cant carry arms to defend our selves then we would be in a lot of trouble, and I learned that it was ratified in the year 1791. That's about it for right now.

Weeks Experience

Last week was crazy for me, because we were assigned to work on our civics game with our partner well my partner was gone for most of the week, then I got a new partner on Thursday then she didn't show on Friday but my other partner did. So it was pretty crazy but I think we're going to be fine on the project.

Most Important.

What I think is the most important thing in that tutorial is about the timeline. Because if you don't know anything about the timeline then you can't really do anything with that kind of software.

Game Problems!!!

OK over the past two days I've been having problems with the code!!!!! Every day another problem occurs and I go home with a major head ache because I had a Code Overload in my head, because I'm not use to seeing so many numbers and letters on one page where if you make the slightest mistake the whole thing doesn't work its so confusing. Grrrr.

"Think quest"- This game is fun and easy to learn how to play. All you do is match a color with a question, if you pick a color look at the bottom of the screen to see your question, then just match it with the answer, its that simple. This game is related to Civics because it has a bunch of information on history, like about the American flag, Paul Revere, and a lot more.

"American Symbols Game"- This game was good I learned a little by playing it, but it was pretty easy as well.
"Bill of Rights Match Game"- I quite enjoyed this game it was pretty challenging for me.
"Geography America Game"-Has to be the best game so far, I like it so much I might play it again when I'm done.
"Redistricting Game"-This game is not to great its really confusing and hard, I didn't like it.
"Branches of Goverment Game"- Its an ok game not that good, but its all right.
"There Should be a Law Game"- An ok game, I didn't find it that great.
"Pick 12 Game" -I didn't quite get the purpose of this game but it seemed pretty boring.
"Play the News Game"- Well you didn't quite get to do a lot but it was still fun.
"Bump The Birds Game"- It was good, now i know how to run a campaign.

my game topic =D

Right so my topic I'm going to use is Civic Participation, well i don't really know a lot about Civics (its one of my weak points.) but one of the only things I know about Civics is the right to have guns. (because it was brought up a lot during the election of 2009)
-So what is the most important thing about my topic you ask well, GUNS ARE GOOD not bad, well unless you use them to kill people. because with guns you can hunt, defend yourself, get respected, and make a lot of noise.
-To help with this topic people should... uhhhh I'm not quite sure what this question is asking sorry.
-If people learned more about this issue then maybe just maybe people would learn to like, no wait love to be able to carry guns with them.

Blog

The hardest part of putting my blog up would most likely be, putting up my banner. Not that it was that hard it was just aggravating, finding a picture, saving the picture, then cropping it, resizing it to fit the box, then save the picture and see if you did it right. But of course I didn't do it right. lol, so now I have recropp it again and resize it again, I probaly did this process at least two or three times.
